Geoffrey and Susan Brown have lived ten years in New Zealand. Geoffrey was chaplain at St Paul’s Collegiate, Hamilton and at Christ’s College, Christchurch where Bishop Derek was their vicar. They are Bishop Richard’s Commissaries in the UK as they were Bishop Derek’s. They have been associated with Bishopdale Theological College since its inception.

Mary Henderson is a close friend of Geoffrey and Susan Brown and has herself relations living in New Zealand. She met Bishop Derek in England and caught his vision for Bishopdale Theological College. She has supported it from its inception.

Rachel has known the Eaton family since their ministry in North Africa. It was through this long time connection that she was able to come to Nelson to serve All Saints Anglican Church during 2003/2004. Since that time and because of the encouragement and guidance of Andrew & Rebecca Burgess and the All Saints family, she has experienced first hand the value of Theological study. She is now in Full time ministry in the UK.  Rachel was privileged to be at the inception of Bishopdale Theological College and delighted to be asked to support the College in the UK through Friends of Bishopdale Theological College Trust. She hopes it won’t be too long until her next visit to Nelson.
