In 2017, the theme of the School of Theology is ‘Discipleship-Shaped Mission.’ The moment of conversion is only the first step on the Christian journey, and so the growth and maturity of God’s people goes hand in hand with the outwards movement and mission of the Church. Discipleship and mission are inextricably connected to each other.

This year we have a range of excellent speakers who will be reflecting on how theology connects with issues of discipleship and mission. This won’t be another conference where you sit and listen to a series of speakers and then return home; instead, we will be really intentional about providing space for reflection, dialogue and questions about what it means for the Church’s life and mission to be focused on discipleship and growth.
