107.515: HEBREW 2 (15 credits)
PRE-REQUISITE: 106.515. Continue to develop in preparation for translation and exegesis of biblical Hebrew.
109.515: Biblical Greek 2 (15 credits)
This course is a continuation of 108.515, a study of the grammar and vocabulary of New Testament Greek, and its application in translation and exegesis.

115.515: Reading the Bible (15 credits)
This course approaches the Bible from the perspective of biblical theology, which allows the Bible to tell its own story as a unified grand narrative that culminates in the person and work of Jesus Christ. To explore the unity, diversity and central themes of the Bible to make sense of the relationship between the Bible, theology, and all of life.
140.515: Reading the NT (15 credits)
This course explores a broad understanding of New Testament foundations, and their interpretation and application within church, mission, and community contexts.
474.530: Leadership Internship I (30 credits)
This course aims to evaluate Christian leadership models within the context of church, mission, and community ministries. Interns will build, lead, and contribute to teams in a way which reflects their sense of call and personal strengths, and through the application of leadership practices that enhance the goals of their chosen ministry.
505.515: Christian Leadership and Mission (15 credits)
This course applies a lens of Christian leadership and mission to the evaluation of personal and community faith journeys, ministry programmes within the student’s context, and the student’s own emerging sense of call and mission.

203.6/715: The Trinity (15 credits)
This course equips students to analyse and evaluate Christian understandings of the Trinity as presented in Scripture and Tradition and bring those insights into dialogue with contemporary issues. There is also an examination of the biblical accounts of the Spirit, taking particular notice of developments in presentation of the Spirit from the Old to the New Testament.
220.6/715: Special Topic: 1 Corinthians (15 credits)
This course provides an opportunity for students to engage in biblical, theological, or historical disciplines in a way not covered elsewhere in a student’s programme of study. The course involves a concentrated study of a biblical text, theological issue, or historical issue. Critical issues of background and context are explored, and contemporary applications are investigated
403.6/715: Spirituality for Ministry (15 credits)
This course explores approaches to life and ministry which will help students to maintain balance, sustainability, and growth in themselves and others. The term ‘ministry’ is used here in the broad sense of employing our gifts and our time for God’s service, whatever our context.

120.515: Reading the OT (15 credits)
This course explores a broad understanding of Old Testament and to introduce students to the interpretation and application of the Old Testament in church, mission, and/or community.
201.515: Engaging Theology (15 credits)
This course aims to introduce systematic theology and teach learners to think theologically. It examines God’s self-revelation, how we can understand that revelation, and why it is foundational for our faith. It then explores the arrangement of this revelation into a set of core beliefs and their application to everyday living.
308.515: Christianity History: Our Story (15 credits)
To develop an integrative understanding of how Christian theology, practice, culture and institutions have developed over history, such that students can better narrate the wider context of their leadership.
401.515: Formation (15 credits)
This course aims to help students to reflect on personal and communal spiritual formation, through engagement with Scripture, theological understandings, and a variety of Christian spiritual traditions.
475.530: Leadership Internship 2 (30 credits)
PRE-REQUISITE: 474 OR 476
This course aims to apply a range of key Christian leadership skills to develop and lead a team. The intern will plan and execute an assigned ministry project which will contribute to the goals of a church, mission, or community ministry.

125.6/715: Psalms (15 credits)
This course explores the rich interplay between faith and life in the Old Testament Book of Psalms. Close readings of selected psalms examine core themes, imagery, forms, genre, and characteristic language to provide insight into the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of the book and its relevancy in historical and contemporary contexts.
202.6/715 Christology (15 credits)
Explore God’s fullest and most complete revelation in Jesus Christ. Understand Christ’s person and work through the lens of the Scriptures, the early patristic debates, and Christological developments sourced from the Protestant reformation and wider church traditions. Utilising the insights gained through these explorations, you’ll develop a systematic understanding of Christ’s being and saving work. Conclude by reflecting Christologically on contemporary issues.
575.6/715: Pastoral Leadership (15 credits)
This course explores the integration of biblical, theological and management perspectives for church ministry. Students will critically evaluate a range of approaches and work toward a personal philosophy of church leadership and management.

108.515: Biblical Greek 1 (15 credits) Offered in Summer Semester, 2026-2027.
This course explores an introductory study of biblical Hebrew, including basic vocabulary and key points of grammar.
Note: For distance learning there will be two online classes each week during the evening on Mondays and Wednesdays. Attendance is strongly encouraged to get the most out of this course.
